The driving force for Something About the RUSH (2022) is escapism; Escapism from unsolvable personal conflict and the exhaustion from baring the weight of it for years at a time. Powerless against the cards that are handed to us but we don't stop trying to cope. The realm in which the piece exists is of grimy back alleys, hot summer night mists, and puddles of sweat and piss on the club floor.
